Paints and Brushes is an interactive UTS game that transforms coloring into an immersive and tactile experience. This is not just about painting — it’s about activating the scene through movement, creativity, and exploration.
How It Works
Players begin by choosing a 3D scene and selecting a viewpoint. The environment then freezes into a black-and-white sketch. Using their hands or another object, players physically touch the grayscale areas to add color. As more of the scene is revealed, it gradually comes to life. Once the required area is painted, the entire environment animates — waterfalls start flowing, fish begin to swim, windmills spin.
The painting process is intuitive, physical, and responsive — making it engaging for players of all ages.
Available Scenes
- River – A summer landscape by the water. Paint the scene to awaken the waterfall and surrounding nature.
- Coral Reef – A vibrant underwater world. Add color to bring tropical fish and coral reefs to life.
- Village – A sunny countryside. As you paint, butterflies flutter and the windmill begins to turn.
