A UTS FlexPlay Attraction Format

LIVING DRAWINGS – INTERACTIVE WALL ANIMATION

Let Children Put Their Own Drawings Into the Game

Children color paper characters, scan them, and watch their creations appear and move inside a shared animated world on the wall.

What is Living Drawings?

Living Drawings is one of the attraction formats available for UTS FlexPlay. Children colour a paper character at a table, put the sheet into a scanner, and their drawing appears on the wall projection and starts to move.

This is the only format in the FlexPlay range that combines an offline activity with the interactive surface. The colouring happens on paper, away from the wall, so a group can work in parallel while the wall keeps showing the characters that have already been scanned. Every drawing joins a shared animated scene, which turns the wall into a display of what the visitors themselves made.

Venues use it in preschool and development centers, family entertainment centers, museums and shopping mall play zones — anywhere a quieter creative activity should sit next to more active attractions.

What Makes Living Drawings Different

The Visitor's Own Character on the Wall

Each scanned drawing becomes a moving character in the shared scene, so children come back to check on the one they made and bring parents over to see it.

Paper Activity Plus Interactive Wall

Colouring happens at a table, which means a whole group can be occupied at once while the wall keeps running and filling with characters that have already been scanned.

Quiet Format That Still Draws a Crowd

There is no running or throwing, so it fits next to seating and cafe areas while the growing animated scene keeps attracting attention.

Part of UTS FlexPlay

Living Drawings can be selected as a starting FlexPlay format or added to a compatible wall installation later.

It is one of the three formats included in Magic Wall 3-in-1. Unlike the other two Magic Wall formats, Living Drawings also needs a scanner station and a small coloring area next to the interactive wall.
