UTS Classroom

The platform is designed for teachers using the equipment, simplifying class preparation and management. It transforms iSandBOX into a standalone, audiovisual educational tool, offering pre-made lessons for interactive teaching.

A complete K-6 course with 25 lessons aligned to NGSS and CA-SEL standards is provided, focusing on Earth, Space, and Life Sciences. These lessons help students develop skills such as problem-solving, modeling, teamwork, and communication.

The platform supports larger groups, making it easy for teachers to manage classes of 25-30 students.

Competency Matrix

For additional reference, we’ve developed a Competency Matrix for K-6 teachers who use iSandBOX with UTS Classroom software installed on it.

This matrix will help you smoothly incorporate the use of this device into your lessons to make them more engaging and valuable for your students.

With the help of this matrix, you will be able to select a suitable ready-made lesson for your students, depending on the current curriculum theme and some competencies your students have not sufficiently developed yet.

Sandbox Layer Editor

An additional tool for the interactive sandbox that allows you to create custom modes using layers. Available layer types:

Color: Select and customize a color layer.
Image: Upload any image of your choice and use it as a layer.
Map: Add and customize a map layer.

The Living Drawings add-on module, featuring a high-speed scanner and software, transforms your AR sandbox or interactive wall into a 2-in-1 device. With innovative technology, children's drawings "come to life" in the sandbox or on the wall, creating a dynamic, interactive experience. Living Drawings offers a full-fledged game with a captivating story, vivid 3D graphics, and sound effects.
