UTS CLASSROOM
UTS Classroom is a platform for teachers, who work with our equipment. It makes classes preparation and classroom management easier. It is an application that transforms iSandBOX into standalone audiovisual interactive educational tool. In simple words, it’s a bunch of pre-made lessons that you can teach with the use of our equipment. We offer a complete K-6 course for iSandBOX consisting of 25 NGSS- and CA-SEL-aligned lessons. The lessons are focused on two DCIs – Earth and Space Science and Life Science. The lessons are aimed at developing the following skills:
Asking questions and defining problems
Developing models
Constructing explanations and designing solutions
Obtaining, evaluating, and communicating information
Teamwork
Practical tasks and activities are easy to implement with larger groups of children, so a teacher can easily manage a class as big as 25-30 students.

For additional reference, we’ve developed a Competency Matrix for K-6 teachers who use iSandBOX with UTS Classroom software installed on it.
